20th Annual Dolores Mountain Bike Race on Escalante Days! Presented by Dolores Rotary Club - Racing to Change Lives Every category offers an epic experience on fast and flowing singletrack. The terrain is ideally suited for high speeds and easy passing. The routes undulate through ponderosa pines and up canyons through aspen groves. While this is a grass-roots hometown event there is no shortage of stiff competition. In past years you would have lined up next to John Tomac, Travis Brown and a host of other elite athletes. We are also offering a Family 5K Fun Run. Pets, strollers, costumes welcome! No mountain bikes needed, just a good pair of running shoes. Compete with your friends and family. Get bragging rights. Enjoy the outdoors. Afterwards, watch the Escalante Days parade, listen to some live music, enjoy the the food stalls, visit the train museum, walk the river trail, and see the sights.
